LDE225 is a potent and selective antagonist of Smoothened (Smo) with IC₅₀ values of 2.5 nM and 1.3 nM for human and mouse Hedgehog, respectively. LDE-225 induces dose-related inhibition of Hh and Smo-dependent tumour growth.
