ACAA1 (acetylCoenzyme A acyltransferase 1), catalyzes the conversion of acyl-CoA and acetyl-CoA to 3-oxoacyl-CoA in the fatty acid o xidation pathway. Deficiency of this enzyme can lead to pseudo-Zellweger syndrome.
