SKF-86002 is a p38 MAP kinase inhibitor (IC₅₀ = 0.1 - 1 μM). Potently inhibits LPS-induced IL-1 and TNF-α production in human monocy tes (IC₅₀ = 1 μM). Also acts as an inhibitor of both cyclooxygenase (COX) and 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO).
