With this innovative lid, waste in a WIVA VAT5 container can be autoclaved before transport.Before autoclaving, place the lid firmly on the container by applying strong pressure. The round hole is sealed with a steridisc, which melts at approx. 100°C and releases the opening for autoclaving. For transport, the container is securely closed after the autoclaving process with the included yellow end cap.
